The Palestinian Authority and the Palestinian Liberation Organization have asked a federal appeals court to block an impending trial seeking to hold them liable for several terrorist attacks between 2001 and 2004.
Lawyers for the organizations have moved before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit for expedited review of their petition for a writ of mandamus that would order Southern District Judge George Daniels (See Profile) to dismiss claims under the Anti-Terrorism Act for lack of jurisdiction.
