he New York City Economic Development Corporation, Manufacture New York and Salmar Properties have jointly announced plans to develop the Manufacturing Innovation Hub at Liberty View Industrial Plaza, in Brooklyn.

The eight-story industrial loft building at 850 Third Ave., along the waterfront of Sunset Park, spans 1.3 million square feet and is privately owned by Salmar Properties and operated by Manufacture New York (MNY). The city, through the economic development agency, will invest $3.5 million for the modernization and subdivision of the space.
