Trial is expected to start Monday in a former associate’s discrimination lawsuit against class action boutique Faruqi & Faruqi.
Alexandra Marchuk in 2013 sued the 27-attorney law firm, founding partners Nadeem Faruqi and Lubna Faruqi—who are brother and sister—and partner Juan Monteverde. Marchuk claims Monteverde repeatedly harassed her when she was a first-year litigation associate and then assaulted her the night of a firm holiday party in 2011.
