Suffolk County Supreme Court Justice Thomas Whelan (See Profile) has been reassigned out of the county’s commercial division, a court spokesman confirmed.
Whelan’s transfer to the Suffolk County Supreme Court’s general civil term was effective Jan. 2, spokesman David Bookstaver said. He declined to discuss the reasons for the judge’s reassignment.
