James Garrity Jr., a Morgan Lewis & Bockius bankruptcy partner, has been reappointed as a bankruptcy judge for the Southern District.

Garrity, who is co-head of Morgan Lewis’ bankruptcy and restructuring practice, served as a bankruptcy judge in the Southern District from 1991 to 1999. After leaving the bench in 1999, he practiced at Shearman & Sterling until 2011, when he joined Morgan Lewis.
