• Nadine Strossen, who was president of the American Civil Liberties Union from 1991 to 2008, has been appointed the John Marshall Harlan II Professor of Law at New York Law School. Currently, she is a member of the ACLU’s National Advisory Council and was recently elected to the Board of the Electronic Privacy Information Center. She joined NYLS as a professor in 1988.
• The Vera Institute of Justice has appointed new members to its board of trustees, including Debo Adegbile, a partner at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr; and Mylan Denerstein, a partner at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
