ESTATE OF MYRTLE COPPINHARRIS, a/k/a MYRTLE HARRIS, Deceased, (07/2769/A) — In this contested application, Mark Crichlow (Crichlow) moves to vacate an order for substituted service, dated May 30, 2014, issued by this court directing substituted service of the First Supplemental Citation in the abovecaptioned turnover proceeding.

On March 6, 2014, Jeffrey Coppin, the respondent herein (Coppin) and co-administrator of the estate of Myrtle Coppin-Harris,1 filed a petition for turnover of property withheld against the co-administrator Crichlow,1 seeking return of certain real property to the decedent’s estate.2 A citation was issued on April 17, 2014, returnable on May 20, 2014. On May 20, 2014, a first supplemental citation was issued, returnable on July 22, 2014. On May 27, 2014, counsel for Coppin filed an affidavit of due diligence (the affidavit of due diligence) of his employee, detailing the attempts at service upon Crichlow. On the basis thereof, this court issued its order for substituted service, dated May 30, 2014 (the order for substituted service).
