A judge has thrown out a perjury case against a New York City detective she deemed legally insufficient and lacking corroboration.
Acting Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Jill Konviser dismissed the indictment against Said Salim on Tuesday but said prosecutors could re-present the case to the grand jury.
