The Eastern District chapter of the Federal Bar Association presented “A Tribute to Our Women Military Veterans” at the Alfonse M. D’Amato Courthouse in Central Islip on Thursday.
Marian Egan O’Sullivan, a 99-year-old veteran of the Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps who lives in Rockville Centre, received a lifetime achievement award from, left to right, Eastern District Chief Judge Carol Bagley Amon; Federal Bar Association Eastern District chapter president Russell Penzer, a partner at Lazer Aptheker Rosella & Yedid; and Federal Bar Association president-elect Dina Miller, a law clerk in the Eastern District.
