Penelope Andrews, who was Albany Law School’s first female president until stepping down July 1, has taken a new job as dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Cape Town in her native South Africa.
Andrews came to Albany Law in 2012 after leaving an associate dean position at the City University of New York School of Law. She was also dean of Albany Law for three years until October 2014.
