A judge has ordered disclosure of certain information about the disciplinary history of the New York City police officer at the center of the Eric Garner chokehold case.

After the Civilian Complaint Review Board denied the Legal Aid Society’s Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) request, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Alice Schlesinger granted Legal Aid’s petition for a summary of particular records from the review board.
