Former Appellate Division Justice Barry Cozier has assumed the chairmanship of the panel charged by Chief Judge Jonathan Lippman with evaluating New York’s attorney discipline system and recommending improvements.
Cozier, a shareholder at LeClairRyan, had been vice-chair to the Commission on Statewide Attorney Discipline. But the chair position opened last month when former Chief Administrative Judge A. Gail Prudenti resigned to take a post at Hofstra University School of Law (NYLJ, July 27).
