The New York City Bar Association has approved four Democratic primary election candidates seeking to fill vacancies on the bench in the Brooklyn and Manhattan civil courts.
For the Sixth District Brooklyn Civil Court, the city bar approved Brooklyn Criminal Court Judge Michael Gerstein, who was elected to Civil Court and assigned to Criminal Court in 2006, as well as Isiris Isela Isaac, a court attorney who ran for Civil Court in 2014.
