A federal judge in Brooklyn handed down a 33-month prison sentence Friday to a man who stole an attorney’s identity and collected $200,000 from more than 50 clients.

According to a release from Acting Eastern District U.S. Attorney Kelly Currie’s office, Steven Dickman, 70, was admitted to the bar in New York in 1969 but resigned in 1987 while under investigation for attorney misconduct.
