ESTATE OF MARION SISSERMAN, Deceased, (13/3933/A) — This is an uncontested miscellaneous proceeding by David Sisserman (petitioner), as limited administrator, of the estate of Marion Sisserman, his late wife (decedent), for leave to compromise and settle a cause of action for the conscious pain and suffering of the decedent.

The decedent died intestate on November 9, 2012 and limited letters of administration were granted to the petitioner on December 20, 2013. An action was brought against R. J. Reynolds and other defendants in the Circuit Court of the 11th Judicial Circuit, Miami-Dade County, Florida, pursuant to the case of Engle v. Leggett Group, Inc., 945 So. 2n 1246 (Fla. 2006) (action). The estate’s settlement recovery for the action is $48,318.47. Jurisdiction is complete and all necessary parties have either been served with process or consent to the relief requested in this proceeding.
