Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Eileen Bransten has dismissed a malpractice complaint against Willkie Farr & Gallagher in which a trader alleged breach of ethics and fiduciary duty.
Dennis Palmeri, a former co-manager of the stock lending desk at financial services firm Ramius Securities, sued Willkie in 2013 for $2.8 million, alleging that after Willkie began representing him in a probe by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Willkie sought to represent Ramius in the same investigation.
