Criminal Court Judge Erika Edwards, seated left, hears from supervising Legal Aid attorney Olayinka Dan-Salami, center, and a defendant at “Clean Slate,” a warrant amnesty program in which New York City residents with open warrants on summons offenses can have them cleared from their record without fear of arrest.

The Office of Court Administration, Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, New York City Police Department and the Legal Aid Society sponsored the event, which was held Saturday at Soul Saving Station Church in Harlem.
