The founding partners of Rakower Lupkin, a New York litigation boutique formed in 2012, are going their separate ways.

Jonathan Lupkin on Monday opened Lupkin & Associates, a three-attorney firm with Michael B. Smith as of counsel and Rebecca Smithwick as an associate. Smith has run his own firm and Smithwick was an associate at Rakower Lupkin. The firm is subletting from Schlam Stone & Dolan at 26 Broadway.
