ESTATE OF MARY MADISON, Deceased. (08/3460) — This is an uncontested application requesting revocation of limited letters previously issued to the Public Administrator and issuance of letters of administration to petitioner.

Decedent died intestate on June 23, 2007, survived by a daughter (“petitioner”) and a grandson, son of a pre-deceased daughter. In April 2009, a nursing home facility petitioned for the appointment of the Public Administrator, alleging that decedent’s estate owed it $12,600 for services it provided to decedent before her death. The Public Administrator was granted limited letters on Sept. 15, 2009, authorizing it to participate in the Medicaid Appeals process in order to secure funds to satisfy decedent’s debt to the nursing home. Petitioner alleges, upon information and belief, that this debt has been satisfied, and that the Public Administrator has completed the undertaking for which she was appointed. Petitioner further alleges that the estate may still be entitled to additional assets, and she seeks to obtain letters in order to collect any such funds.
