A Brooklyn appeals court affirmed all but two of the 57 counts against a Hasidic counselor who was sentenced to 50 years in prison for sexually abusing a girl repeatedly over three years, starting when she was 12.
Nechemya Weberman was convicted of first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, 12 counts of second-degree criminal sexual act, two counts of third-degree criminal sexual act, 18 counts of second-degree sexual abuse, 25 counts of third-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
