An immigration lawyer who pleaded guilty to using bogus advanced degrees for clients seeking employment visas was disbarred Tuesday by a Manhattan appellate court.
In July, solo practitioner Richard Kassel received a 27-month sentence in the Southern District for his conviction on conspiracy to commit immigration fraud.
