A town court justice in Western New York agreed to resign effective Friday rather than face continuation of an investigation into whether she improperly interceded on behalf of a DWI defendant in another court.
In a stipulation with the Commission on Judicial Conduct, Colden Town Court Justice Victoria Zach also agreed not to again seek judicial office in New York state. Zach, a non-attorney, has been Colden justice since 2009.
