A graduate student has filed suit claiming her civil rights were violated because Fordham University demanded mental health records when she sought reinstatement to the school in 2013.
Emily Pierce contends in Pierce v. Fordham University School of Social Work, 1:15-cv-04589, that the school is discriminating against her by requiring that she produce documents not required of other students seeking re-entry who have no history of mental health issues.
