Recently retired chief judge Jonathan Lippman has joined Latham & Watkins as of counsel in the firm’s litigation and trial department in Manhattan.
The firm said Lippman will provide expertise on state law and appellate matters while remaining a high-profile advocate on the public policy issues, such as pro bono service and access to justice, that he focused on as chief judge.
