A Westchester judge has allowed part of a legal malpractice suit to continue against regional law firm White & Williams, but a claim of attorney deceit was dismissed.
Kallista, a skin care product company that was the firm’s client, and its cofounder, Linda Gillette Parodi, sued the 240-attorney firm and New York partner Randy Friedberg in August, claiming they committed legal malpractice in the course of applying for a trademark and then fraudulently concealing their conduct.
