A Queens judge denied a property owner’s motion to dismiss a slip-and-fall lawsuit filed by an elderly tenant who was injured at an apartment where she was moved temporarily for repairs but which the defendants did not own.
Kathy Pantos, 82, lived in an apartment on 29th Street in Astoria owned by Angelo and Tashiko Galanis. The couple asked Pantos to temporarily move to a different apartment on Crescent Street, also in Astoria, that they did not own.
