The New York Attorney General’s Office has created an improved website that allows visitors to find links between lobbyists in Albany and bills before the Legislature.

The site, NYOpenGovernment.com, allows the public to see expenditure reports required of lobbyists by the state Joint Commission on Public Ethics (JCOPE), what issues those lobbyists are working on and lists of their clients, the political donations reported by candidates and whether legislators have introduced or joined the sponsorship of bills on topics in which their donors are involved.
