A New York state court officer was arrested Tuesday for robbery conspiracy and related firearms charges in connection to robberies of suspected drug dealers in Queens.

Nicholas Giovatto, 37, was allegedly part of a crew that invaded homes between December 2011 and March 2012 posing as police officers with search warrants. Eastern District prosecutors claim Giovatto’s crew stole more than $30,000 in cash and jewelry.
