Patricia Salkin, dean of the Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, urged the New York State Bar Association’s House of Delegates to use its influence to diversify the bar.
Salkin, who received the Ruth G. Schapiro Memorial Award, said that while women have made “inroads” toward equality in the legal profession, it is “staggering how much more we need to do.”
