A. Gail Prudenti will succeed the late Judith Kaye as chair of the state’s Permanent Judicial Commission on Justice for Children.
Chief Judge Janet DiFiore said she appointed Prudenti, a former chief state administrative judge and Appellate Division, Second Department, presiding justice, because she is a “passionate voice for children and families in crisis,” knows the court system and can bring disparate people together.
