The state District Attorneys Association has revised its handbook on the ethical obligations of DAs and distributed it to each of the approximately 2,800 prosecutors in New York state.

The guidebook, titled “The Right Thing,” was initially written in 2011. The president of the prosecutors’ association, Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Zugibe, said Friday the 40-page book has been updated to reflect statutory, regulatory and case law changes of importance to prosecutors during the past five years.
