Months after the feuding partners of Napoli Bern Ripka Shkolnik signed a settlement agreement and joined separate firms, a court-appointed referee has prohibited the partners from soliciting each other’s clients.

Mark Zauderer, a partner at Flemming Zulack Williamson Zauderer who is overseeing the dissolution of Napoli Bern, worked with Paul Napoli and Marc Bern to sort through and split up 24,000 client cases­—a process that was settled through a coin toss.
