A veteran appellate attorney failed to show that her dismissal by the New York City Department of Law was due to discrimination over her postpartum depression and the other health conditions, a federal judge concluded.

Southern District Judge Shira Scheindlin ruled that the city successfully rebutted Susan Eisner’s contentions that it violated the Americans with Disabilities Act and the New York City Human Rights Law by showing “legitimate, non-discriminatory” reasons for her 2013 termination.
