A Manhattan appeals court has dismissed a lawsuit filed by a woman who was thrown from a horse during a recreational ride at a New York City-owned stable in the Bronx.
A panel of the Appellate Division, First Department, wrote in Blumenthal v. Bronx Equestrian Ctr., Inc., 308815/08, that Bronx Supreme Court Justice Wilma Guzman should have granted the defendants’ motion for summary judgment.
