Claims that New York City Police Department officials singled out Occupy Wall Street protestors through illegal policies on mass arrests have been dismissed by a federal judge.

Southern District Judge P. Kevin Castel agreed with the city that former Chief of Department Joseph Esposito, and the city itself, should not be the subject of a lawsuit alleging the design and supervision of policies that violated the constitutional rights of protestors removed from Zuccotti Park in 2012.
