Communications between a public relations firm and a municipality fighting allegations of discrimination towards Hasidic Jews are not privileged, a judge has ruled.

Brushing off assertions of attorney-client and work-product privilege, Southern District Judge Katherine Forrest said Friday that the Town of Mamakating and the West End Strategy Team public relations firm had to immediately and fully comply with plaintiffs’ subpoena.
