A disbarred attorney was sentenced to six months of weekends in jail and five years’ probation for collecting federal disability payments when he also earned money practicing law between 2003 and 2010.
Northern District Judge Glenn Suddaby also ordered Christopher Chadick to pay $247,269 in restitution to the Social Security Administration. During the March 24 sentencing in Syracuse, the judge directed that Chadick begin repaying the government $100 a month, or 10 percent of his gross income.
