A former DLA Piper partner is suing the firm’s outside counsel for legal malpractice, claiming he was unfairly maligned and made into a scapegoat after the “churn that bill, baby!” email scandal.
Erich Eisenegger, who left DLA Piper for McDermott Will & Emery, where he was eventually fired after the email scandal became public, filed a complaint March 18 in Baltimore City Circuit Court against DLA Piper’s outside counsel, Kramon & Graham, alleging malpractice and breach of fiduciary duty.
