ESTATE OF ROMAN BLUM, Deceased (12/29) — In this pending probate proceeding, the Court received yet another communication from Emmett W. Caldwell which the Court deemed to be an application for Poor Person status, and scheduled a hearing for March 16, 2016, at which time Caldwell was directed to appear to testify, under oath, regarding his entitlement to proceed as a Poor Person.

ESTATE OF ROMAN BLUM, Deceased (12/29) — In this pending probate proceeding, the Court received yet another communication from Emmett W. Caldwell which the Court deemed to be an application for Poor Person status, and scheduled a hearing for March 16, 2016, at which time Caldwell was directed to appear to testify, under oath, regarding his entitlement to proceed as a Poor Person.

Appearing for the hearing were counsel for the proponent, counsel for the Public Administrator of Richmond County, and the Guardian ad Litem. Caldwell, however, failed to appear. All opposed his application, and the Court, noting his default, denied Caldwell’s motion seeking Poor Person status.
