There was “more than sufficient” evidence supporting a jury’s finding that New York City Police Officer Peter Liang committed manslaughter with a shot that ricocheted into an innocent man, Brooklyn prosecutors contend.

Fighting a bid to undo the guilty verdict, the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office said in court papers Tuesday that Liang’s recklessness in Akai Gurley’s 2014 death during a public housing patrol was shown two ways.
