Mary Kay Vyskocil was inducted as a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of New York on April 7, at a ceremony at the Thurgood Marshall Courthouse in Foley Square. Administering the oath is Second Circuit Chief Judge Robert Katzmann. Holding the Bible is Judge Vyskocil’s sister Helen Huffman.
Vyskocil was a senior litigation partner at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. She fills the seat vacated by the retirement of bankruptcy judge Robert Gerber.
