ALBANY – Persistent debates in Albany over teacher performance evaluations and other educational policies helped push spending for lobbyists to an all-time high in 2015.
Groups and individuals trying to influence state government spent $243.1 million last year, about an 8 percent increase over 2014′s record-breaking lobbying expenditures (NYLJ, May 1, 2015).
