A liability release signed by a horseback rider who was injured after falling off her mount has been ruled off-limits for use at her negligence trial.
Warren County Supreme Court Justice Robert Muller was not persuaded that Deborah Boland’s liability waiver sufficiently addressed the circumstances that allegedly prompted her June 2012 accident. In Boland v. Riding High Dude Ranch, 58485, she contends that she fell because the improperly attached saddle slipped, causing her to lose her balance.
