A juror in the manslaughter case against former New York City Police Officer Peter Liang faced tough questioning Wednesday about whether he lied to get on the jury.
The probe into juror Michael Vargas’ conduct led Acting Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Danny Chun to delay Liang’s sentencing until Tuesday for the shooting death of Akai Gurley.
