Southern District Judge Valerie Caproni Thursday ordered the unsealing of materials that prosecutors want to use as part of the sentencing of former New York State Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver on May 3.

Caproni said the materials, which involve Silver, the use of his public office, and a woman who until now has remained anonymous, would be unsealed at 9 a.m. Friday morning.
