New York City Corporation Counsel Zachary Carter, center, received the George Bundy Smith Pioneer Award Tuesday from the New York State Bar Association’s Commercial and Federal Litigation Section at an event entitled “Smooth Moves 2016: Career Strategies for Attorneys of Color.”
Carter was presented the award by its namesake, former state Court of Appeals judge George Bundy Smith, right. Joining them at Lincoln Center’s Kaplan Penthouse was event moderator and program co-chair Barry Cozier, left, senior counsel at LeClairRyan.
