A Nassau County attorney who pleaded guilty to grand larceny last year for stealing a combined $1.4 million through the theft from an escrow fund and by selling real estate without satisfying an outstanding mortgage loan has been disbarred.
Steve F. Weinstock, 49, of Roslyn Heights, pleaded guilty on April 8, 2015 to four counts of second-degree grand larceny, one count of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and one count of first-degree offering a false instrument for filing.
