The new acting superintendent of the state Department of Financial Services (DFS) is continuing to make high-level staff appointments at the agency.
Acting Superintendent Maria Vullo announced Thursday she has designated Scott Fischer as executive deputy superintendent for insurance at the agency and Laura Evangelista as deputy superintendent of insurance to fill the slot Fischer is vacating.
