Days after a divided panel for a federal appeals court restored the suspension of Tom Brady, the New England Patriots’ quarterback and the NFL Players Association have added prominent litigator Theodore Olson to their legal team.

Olson, a partner at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher and a former solicitor general, entered his appearance Friday, serving as co-counsel with another firm partner, Andrew Tulumello, and Winston & Strawn partners Jeffrey Kessler, David Greenspan and Steffan Johnson.
