By bringing on two star litigators this week, Bracewell is looking to regain strength fast in New York, while its newest partners hope to expand their client base.

Paul Shechtman, who is frequently juggling high-profile court cases, and Barbara Jones, a former federal judge who served on the Southern District bench for 16 years, joined Bracewell on Monday in its white-collar defense practice, exiting Zuckerman Spaeder.
